This is a long overdue restaurant in Porterville. For those of us who are incurable foodies going through culinary withdrawals, this place is most welcome. Vietnamese, Laotian and Thai dishes. Vermicelli salad was amazing. All salad ingredients were fresh and crisp. The lemon grass stir fry is done Cambodian style..... was tasty, unique, with Thai overtones. Lok Lak is also a Cambodian stir fry but not my favorite. Bland in my book. My least desire. Now let's talk about Banh Mi. Only restaurant in Porterville to offer this fantastic Vietnamese baguette sandwich. Is it possible to crisp out the outside. Also tried their soup, Kao Piek. A soup with home made rice noodles, in chicken broth with shredded chicken. I like soups that are piping hot. This one delivered. Personally would prefer thinner noodles.
Wonderful flavor pho. Great new spot in PORTERVILLE at the bowling alley. And their hamburger is world class. It's a tasty experience and it's right here where we live. Give it a try.

What a unique find in Porterville, CA - a must try! I've had the beef broth, garlic chicken, ginger chicken, chicken teriyaki bowl, pork belly, pad se kra, chicken & sticky rice. The beef broth - let's start there - is the best I've ever had! No other pho place has broth this good! A tad salty, but soo flavorful you can't help but love it. The chicken and sticky rice with house made sauce was ok standard. $5 is a really good deal. The house sauce is the "equivalent" of salsa, but Asian style. It's very tasty. Dip everything in it! The pork belly tasted good and it was served with house sauce. It's a little pricey, but pork belly is a rarity. It was a bit too hard, but I'm sure next time they won't overcook it. I liked the garlic chicken - fresh chicken and lots of garlic paste sauce. Chicken teriyaki bowl is fresh and much healthier than other places that use a syrup. The chicken is even a little crispy on the outside! Good job! Their menu has 3 curries and I'm really excited to try the panang curry. Their menu also says their noodles are homemade! Where else can you get homemade noodles?? They have various seafood dishes and vegetarian options so this is a good place to take anyone to. My biggest complaint is their lack of eggplant, basil, and smaller portion sizes. The price of the milk tea is $4, a little high. They have fountain sodas which is a huge plus for me. Decor is cute and service is speedy and nice. Come try this place if you're in the Porterville area! Bring your guests from out of town because there's something for everyone! Did I mention you can bowl after dinner?? Bring the kids! It's attached to a bowling alley!
